MINISTER STRAHL TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS OF SCIENCE PEER REVIEW IN AGASSIZ

OTTAWA, Ontario, March 9, 2007 – The Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be at the Agassiz Research Centre on Monday, March 12, to announce the results of the external Peer Review of AAFC’s 2007-2008 research projects. The Minister will be available to speak to media following the announcement.

Media are invited to join the Minister on a tour of the Centre's facilities.
