MP MERV TWEED TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR SCIENCE PROJECTS IN BRANDON, MANITOBA
OTTAWA, Ontario, March 13, 2007 – Brandon–Souris Member of Parliament Merv Tweed, on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be at the Brandon Research Centre on Wednesday, March 14, to announce the results of the external Peer Review of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s 2007-2008 research projects. Following the announcement, Mr. Tweed will be available to speak to media.
Media are invited to join Mr. Tweed on a tour of the Brandon Research Centre’s facilities.
