CANADA'S NEW GOVERNMENT TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR THE SOUTHERN ALBERTA ALTERNATIVE ENERGY PARTNERSHIP

OTTAWA, Ontario, April 11, 2007 - Rick Casson, Member of Parliament for Lethbridge, on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be at the Galt Museum today to announce funding for the Southern Alberta Alternative Energy Partnership under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative.

Following the announcement, Mr. Casson will be available to speak to the media.
