MP DEL MASTRO TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR BIOFUELS OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRODUCERS INITIATIVE IN ONTARIO
OTTAWA, Ontario, May 3, 2007 - Dean Del Mastro, Member of Parliament for Peterborough, on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Havelock on Friday, May 4, to announce funding for feasibility studies for alternative fuels under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative.
Following the announcement, Mr. Del Mastro will be available to speak to the media. Biofuels industry and Agriculture Adaptation Council representatives will also be present.
