TREASURY BOARD PRESIDENT VIC TOEWS TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION IN MANITOBA

OTTAWA, Ontario, June 7, 2007 – The Honourable Vic Toews, President of the Treasury Board, on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Winnipeg, on Friday, June 8, to announce funding for renewable energy production in Manitoba under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative.

Following the announcement, Mr. Toews will be available to speak to media.
