MP JOHN WILLIAMS TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR BIOFUEL INITIATIVES IN CENTRAL ALBERTA

OTTAWA, Ontario, June 7, 2007 – John Williams, Member of Parliament for Edmonton—St. Albert, on behalf of the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Edmonton, on Friday, June 8, to announce funding for projects under the Biofuels Opportunities for Producers Initiative program in Central Alberta.

Mr. Williams will be available to speak to media following his announcement. Biofuels industry and Agriculture and Food Council representatives will also be present.
