MP GARY SCHELLENBERGER TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING TO COMBAT DISEASE IN THE HOG SECTOR
OTTAWA, Ontario, August 20, 2007 - Gary Schellenberger, Member of Parliament for Perth-Wellington, on behalf of the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Sebringville, Ontario, today, to announce funding to combat disease in the hog sector. This event is organized in conjunction with an announcement by the Secretary of State for Agriculture, Christian Paradis, in Quebec.
Following the announcement, Mr. Schellenberger will be available to speak to the media.
