MINISTER RITZ TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR THE FIRST ECOABC PROJECT

OTTAWA, Ontario, October 3, 2007 – The Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Unity, on Thursday, October 4, to announce funding for the first project under the ecoAgriculture Biofuels Capital Initiative (ecoABC).

Following the announcement, Minister Ritz will be available to speak to media.
