GOVERNMENT OF CANADA TO ANNOUNCE SUPPORT FOR THE CANADIAN WINE INDUSTRY

OTTAWA, Ontario, October 18, 2007 – Ron Cannan, Member of Parliament for Kelowna-Lake Country, on behalf of the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Kelowna on Friday, October 19, to announce funding for Canada’s wine industry.

Following the announcement, Mr. Cannan will be available to speak to media.
