THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA TO ANNOUNCE FUNDING FOR BIODIESEL PRODUCTION

OTTAWA, Ontario, November 5, 2007 – Ted Menzies, Member of Parliament for Macleod, on behalf of the Honourable Gerry Ritz, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food and Minister for the Canadian Wheat Board, will be in Aldersyde (30 minutes south of Calgary) on Tuesday, November 6, to announce funding for Western Biodiesel Inc. under the ecoAgriculture Biofuels Capital Initiative (ecoABC).

Mr. Menzies will be available to speak to media following the announcement.

Directions from Calgary: Take Highway 2 South to Aldersyde Road, and then turn west. Turn south onto 2A at the intersection (there is a large tent). The event will take place at Abild’s Industrial Park located just before the Cargill Foods meat packing plant. (Maps are available by calling Media Relations.)
