CAIS Program: Deadlines

But you have until April 30, 2007 to pay with penalty

Due date for the 2006 CAIS Fee.

Fees paid after this date will have a 20% penalty added. You must pay your fee by April 30, 2007 or you will be ineligible to participate in CAIS for the 2006 program year.

As December 31 fell on a Sunday, participants had until January 2, 2007 to meet the deadline.

Individuals : submit the Harmonized CAIS Program Information and Statement of Farming Activities for Individuals (Form T1273 ) for the 2006 fiscal year:

Corporations, Communes, Cooperatives and Special Individuals: Submit the Corporation / Co-operative and Special Individual Harmonized Form and Guide 2006 for the 2006 fiscal year:

If you miss this deadline, you can still submit the form until December 31, 2007. However, any benefit you are entitled to will be reduced by $500 for each month (or each part of the month) late.
