Bob Dugan
Chief Economist, CMHC
As chief economist, Bob Dugan leads a Canada-wide team of economists responsible for analyzing and forecasting housing market activity across the country. Before joining CMHC, Bob worked in both the public and private sectors, where he was responsible for economic forecasting and policy analysis, with a focus on fiscal and monetary policy issues. Bob's experience included membership in a private sector forum of economists advising the minister of finance on fiscal planning issues; coordination of forecasting activities for the Canadian Occupational Projection System (COPS) and economic and fiscal analysis with the federal department of finance. Bob has an B. Sc. (Hon.) degree in economics from the University of Ottawa and an MA in economics from Carleton University, Ottawa.

Ted Tsiakopoulos
Regional Economist, CMHC
Ted Tsiakopoulos leads a team of market analysts in Ontario and is responsible for the forecasting and analysis of both economic conditions and housing conditions across the province. He is frequently quoted in print and television media. Ted has delivered a number of presentations on the state of the housing market to key client groups, including the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario; the Urban Development Institute; the Ontario Home Builders' Association; the Toronto Real Estate Board; and, the Toronto Association for Business and Economics. Ted has an MA in Economics from York University and also studied at the London School of Economics in the U.K.

Pascal-Yvan Pelletier
Market Analyst, CMHC
Pascal-Yvan Pelletier is CMHC's Ottawa analyst and is responsible for analyzing the area's housing markets and demand factors. Before coming to Ottawa, Pascal-Yvan worked as a market analyst with CMHC's Quebec Regional Office and as an economist with Quebec's Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Science and Technology. M. Pelletier holds an MA in Economics from the University of Sherbrooke.
