Media Advisory End-of-Crop-Year News Conference
The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) will hold a news conference on August 7 to review the 2001-02 crop year and release the CWB's updated crop production forecast for 2002-03. Board Chair Ken Ritter and President and CEO Greg Arason will make brief statements, which will be followed by a question and answer period. Bruce Burnett, Director, Weather & Crop Surveillance will also be on-hand to answer questions.
This news conference will be broadcast live over the CWB Web site at www.cwb.ca. Out-of-town media can participate in the question and answer period by registering for the teleconference.
