Sales

In support of industry and partners, the CTC’s global sales force focuses on business development in our key geographic markets. The CTC maintains sales offices in Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the U.S. and UK. Aligned with our strategic plan and together with marketing, the sales division:

  • Develops innovative strategies specific to our key markets.
  • Formulates tactics that support the CTC’s global in-market strategy for the trade and consumer markets, including leisure, meetings, conventions and incentive travel, and media.
  • Builds pivotal in-market relationships.
  • Aligns in-market activities with the executive directors of the CTC’s geographic markets—travel trade account management, development and education; consumer development via advertising, partnerships, promotions and in-market events; familiarization trips to Canada, in-market trade missions, PR and media relations.
  • Funnels market intelligence to the CTC Research department.
  • Promotes travel to Canada at trade shows.
