Thanks for participating in this year's Sounds of the Season. We will continue to take both non-perishable food and monetary donations until December 31st.
Drop by with your food donations-we have bins set up in the Atrium of the CBC Broadcasting Centre-right through to the end of the month. And to make a monetary donation to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
As of December 14, we are thrilled to announce that you have donated over $103, 706 and more than 5,000 pounds of food.
If you weren't able to join us on December 7, turn up your speakers and watch this slideshow of our special event.

Kevin Sylvester is creating a new illustration that will be available in a limited edition of 150 copies.
Kevin's 2007 design
Last year, sales of these prints raised over $15,000.00 for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
If you want a copy of the 2007 print, all you have to do is donate $100.00 to the Daily Bread Food Bank (look for the CBC Holiday Challenge link) .
Then just e-mail Kevin to let him know you've made the donation. Be sure to include your mailing address in the message.
Jim's window
Jim Curran has created a new stained glass window. Come to Sounds of the Season on December 7th and enter for your chance to win it.
The window measures 89 cm by 58 cm or 35 inches by 23 3/4 inches. Some material was supplied by Celestial Stained Glass - Toronto .
Scott Regehr has a Hockey Night in Canada jersey signed by Ron McLean and Kelly Hrudey (donated by CBC TV Sports) as part of our Silent Auction.
Jill Dempsey is proud to present, "someone else's
craft", on behalf of our annual fundraising event for the
Daily Bread. Scott Regehr models the jersey
This year Jill's choosing to back an original acrylic painting
by a member of the 99.1 team.
It was painted by Susan Marjetti, the Regional Director
of CBC Radio in Toronto. Susan is a Cape Bretoner by birth and a Torontonian
by choice.
Most of her paintings are reflective of her love for Cape
Breton and the Maritimes; a place Jill has visited and also loves.
All money collected from the draw for the stained glass window and the painting will go to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
