Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS)
Description: MEDS mandate is to manage and archive ocean data collected by DFO, or acquired through national and international programmes conducted in ocean areas adjacent to Canada, and to disseminate data, data products, and services to the marine community in accordance with the policies of the Department.
DFO GeoBrowser (Canadian Hydrographic Service)
Description: The GeoBrowser is part of the DFO GeoPortal Project which is being developed in cooperation with GeoConnections. Within DFO this project is both a catalyst and an enabler to make it easier to access and share geospatial information.

Fish Habitat Management Information System (FHAMIS)
(Quebec Region)
Description: This on-line mapping tool provides quick access to the data in the Atlas of Coastal Habitats and Fishery Resources that have been compiled from the Fish Habitat Management Information System (FHAMIS) . It allows users to generate interactive maps of fishery resources and habitats (spawning grounds, feeding areas, etc.) at multiple scales that vary with the area extent of the region selected and the data to be displayed.
