Links to Web sites not under the control of the Government of Canada (GoC) are provided solely for the convenience of users. The GoC is not responsible for the accuracy, currency or the reliability of the content. The GoC does not offer any guarantee in that regard and is not responsible for the information found through these links, nor does it endorse the sites and their content.
Users should be aware that information offered by non-GoC sites that are not subject to the Official Languages Act and to which the Canadian Grain Commission links, may be available only in the language(s) used by the sites in question.
Generally, Government of Canada institutions encourage third parties to link to their web sites. Sites wishing to link to the Canadian Grain Commission's web site, therefore, do not need to request permission to do so. We do, however, ask that you follow these linking practices.
Use only text links for linking to the CGC's Web site. Do not link and/or use the official symbols of the CGC or Government of Canada as navigational aids.
The official symbols of the Government of Canada appear on non-government sites only when they are used to identify a government contribution or participation in a Collaborative Arrangement. Therefore, do not display symbols of the CGC on your web site without permission.
Avoid confusing your site visitors as to the source of CGC information through such web design practices as framing.
Please note: links from web sites to the CGC web site do not imply that the CGC endorses the organization providing the link or the information provided on its web site.
As a service to our visitors, the CGC provides links to other web sites. These links are not an endorsement of the organization or a rating of the content of the sites to which they are made.
If you wish to request that the CGC provide a link to your site from our site, please review the criteria that follow before submitting your request. Decisions to post links on this site are subject to these criteria:
Your site features agricultural content.
The creation of a link does not provide unfair competitive advantage through on-line endorsements of third party interests. (Please note that links created within the context of a Collaborative Arrangement are not considered an endorsement or providing an unfair competitive advantage.)
Your site is not considered inappropriate due to its content or its affiliations.
The content of your site complies with the laws of Canada, which include such items as copyright, privacy, etc.
The content of your site is kept current and accurate.
Your site allows users to navigate back to the CGC site; it does not block the user's return to the CGC site by using embedded code or other techniques within the linked page that prevent the use of the browser "back" button.
Your site provides contact information that includes at least two of the following:
Postal mail

In addition, please note that:
Preference may be given to sites that make their information available in both official languages.
Preference may be given to sites that meet the accessibility requirements outlined in Common Look and Feel Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4.
Preference may be given to sites that provide uninterrupted, free access to users.
The CGC reserves the right to refuse or remove hyperlink to other web sites at any time.
