Minister of Citizenship and Immigration travels to India

Ottawa, October 31, 2007 — The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, will travel to India October 31 to November 9. The trip will be an opportunity to promote Canada’s immigration programs as India is a major source of immigrants to Canada. She will be visiting New Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai.

While in India, the Minister will be available to Canadian media by conference call. Details for the call will be made available on November 5.
