The CTC is a marketing organization. And we are lucky to be promoting a fabulous product — Canada. Our vision is to compel the world to explore Canada. Today! But essentially, our job is getting people to jump on an airplane or hop in their cars and visit our incredible country, any time of year.
With our partners in the tourism industry and in all levels of government, we:
- Advertise and promote Canada in 10 markets around the world;
- Conduct industry research and studies;
- Help the tourism industry come up with innovative travel experiences that will lure travellers to Canada.
The CTC relocated from Ottawa, ON to Vancouver, BC in December 2005. We are building our new headquarters in western Canada and ramping up to Canada’s 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver–when the eyes of the world will be on our country. It’s an exciting time! And we have a lot of work ahead. Our aim is to create strategic marketing initiatives and build innovative partnership programs that benefit every community, city, province and territory across Canada.
