Terms
- Feeder cattle can be purchased on a revolving loan with each draw repayable upon sale of the livestock, within one year of disbursement
- Breeding livestock can be purchased on a term loan that corresponds with the age of the cows and your operation’s cash flow (generally one-, three- or five-year terms with level annual principal plus interest payments)
Security
- First charge security on the financed cattle (offspring, as applicable) is taken, supported by a credit facility agreement and security agreement
- An assignment of livestock insurance
- Assignment of security deposit funds, if applicable
