Marianne Scott Endowment Fund for the Canadiana Collection of Library and Archives Canada

The Friends of the National Library of Canada was founded in 1991 when Dr. Marianne Scott was the National Librarian. Dr. Scott retired in 1999, and in recognition of her commitment to the development of the Canadiana collection and her encouragement of our Friends organization, we established the Marianne Scott Endowment Fund for the Canadiana Collection. This forward-looking fund is designed to strengthen the collection for years to come. Tax receipts are issued for donations to this special fund.
