Forums
Youth Forums Canada provides funding to support projects that give Canadian youth, generally between the ages of 14 and 25, with an opportunity to connect with one another. Different projects are eligible to the YFC program, such as youth forums, workshops, conferences or one-way exchanges. Participants are given the opportunity to learn about a variety of subjects and discover another region of Canada.
OBJECTIVES
- Enhance knowledge and understanding of Canada among
participants.
- Connect Canadians with one another.
- Develop a sense of Canadian identity and attachment to Canada by helping youth appreciate both the diversity and the shared aspects of the Canadian experience.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
- Exchanges Canada will pay for participants' and
supervisors' return transportation.
- Exchanges Canada may also contribute to additional expenses incurred by youth with special needs.
