A summary of the intended changes to the actual obsolete Laser Regulations was sent in the form of a letter to Canadian Laser equipment Stakeholders for comments. The purpose of this letter was to informed the interested parties that the Consumer and Clinical Radiation Protection Bureau Has the intention to use the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 608-25-1 Std as its main reference in the amended Regulations. It was also CCRPB intention to seek stakeholders comments on the coming amendments. |
