Welcome to the Canada/Nova Scotia Business Service Centre's Internet site.

Our Centre is part of a national network of Canada Business Service Centres with a location in a major centre in each province and territory. All Centres across the country offer a similar mix of services.

The Canada/Nova Scotia Business Service Centre opened in August 1993 and operates from a store-front location in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Managing Partner for the Canada/Nova Scotia Business Service Centre is the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. The Co-located partners at the Centre can be found in the On-site partners section.

We are a full-service business information resource accessible province-wide and free-of-charge and our staff are committed to providing a quality service to you, our clients.

To serve you better, we have entered into partnerships with the Aboriginal Business Service Network and  Community Business Resource Network.

• Aboriginal entrepreneurs can access information and resources at Aboriginal Business Service Network locations throughout Nova Scotia. The network offers resources to improve access to capital and business development tools for new and established Aboriginal businesses.
  
  
• The resources, available at Community Business Resource Network locations throughout Nova Scotia, include free Internet access for business research and a selection of frequently used reference publications.
