Canada Saskatchewan Infrastructure Program (CSIP)

The Canada Saskatchewan Infrastructure Program (CSIP) is a five-year (2001-2006) program announced by the federal government in the 2000 budget to create a national physical infrastructure program. The CSIP has been structured to reflect both Canada's and Saskatchewan's commitment to improving the quality of life for all Canadians.

The federal investment available through the program is $56.71 million, over five years. Saskatchewan will match Canada's contribution. Canada and Saskatchewan will each cost share up to 1/3 of the eligible costs of approved projects. Applicants will be required to invest at least a 1/3 share.
