Agricultural Property Tax Concessions and Government Transfers to Agriculture
Government financial transfers to agricultural producers are measured annually through a collaborative effort by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and provincial governments.
This study, commissioned by AAFC and conducted by JRG Consulting Group, explores conceptual and data issues related to the objective of measuring government transfers to agriculture from provincial property tax concessions. The report also provides a description of agricultural property taxation in each province.
