Daniel Martel: Senior Vice President, Credit Risk Management
Since joining BDC in 1981, Daniel Martel held various positions with increasing responsibilities: Account Manager; Branch Manager; Assistant Vice President, Ontario East; Vice President & District Manager for the Quebec West Area.

He also held the position of Vice President Operations Support - Strategic Initiatives, where he was responsible for business process redesign and redefining BDC's corporate structure. As of 2004, he has held the current position at the national level.
Holder of a Bachelor of commerce (Honours Finance) degree with a major in Accounting, Mr. Martel sits on the Board of Directors of Jeunes entreprises du Québec.
