Senior Management Team

Ms. Edmée Métivier is Executive Vice President, Financing and Consulting at BDC. As such, Ms. Métivier is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to sustain the growth of BDC Financing, BDC Consulting and Aboriginal Banking. She also oversees BDC's Credit Risk Management.

Ms. Métivier joined BDC in August 2000 as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Resources Management following a successful career at the Royal Bank where she held a number of operational positions, including Vice President, Small & Medium Enterprises. In 2002, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Integrated Risk and Resource Management, responsible for the areas of Integrated Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, Information Technology, and Treasury. She holds a Master of Arts in Practicing Management from University of Lancaster, England.

Ms. Métivier is Chair of the Board of Shad International.  She is also a member of the Desautels Faculty of Management Advisory Board at McGill University and the McGill International Executive Institute Advisory Board.
