Governor General Welcomes His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, to Rideau HallOctober 9, 2007 OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, Governor General of Canada, will officially welcome His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, during his visit to Canada, from October 9 to 14, 2007. The official meeting will take place on Thursday, October 11, at 11:10 a.m. During their meeting, His Royal Highness will discuss his working visit to Canada with Her Excellency, as well as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award in Canada and the Earl and Countess of Wessex’s Canadian military and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) affiliations.
