Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement Negotiations
On July 15, 2005, International Trade Minister Jim Peterson announced the launch of free trade negotiations with the Republic of Korea (South Korea). International Trade Canada would like to hear your views on various issues pertaining to market access negotiations for agricultural and non-agricultural goods of this free trade agreement; namely, tariffs, rules of origin, and non-tariff measures. All interested parties are encouraged to visit the International Trade Canada web site to view the associated Consultation Notice (link noted below), and to submit views by October 7, 2005.
