Man United cruise into second round

MANCHESTER, England(AP) Manchester United advanced to the second round of the Champions League by beating Dynamo Kiev 4-0 Wednesday.

Gerard Pique scored a 31st-minute header for his first goal for United and Carlos Tevez added another six minutes later. Wayne Rooney then scored his seventh goal in eight games in the 76th and Cristiano Ronaldo added the fourth in the 87th.

The result maintained United's perfect record of 12 points from four games. AS Roma, in second place with seven points, assured United's advancement with a 2-2 draw at Sporting Lisbon.
