Unwind with a refreshing musical cocktail served with style by CBC Radio's sparkling jazz host, Katie Malloch. Katie brings her sense of humour, knowledge and passion for music to the Radio 2 airwaves Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Tonic presents a mix of jazz that is warm, soulful and lyrical, from a broad time span in the jazz chronology. Canadian jazz is a fundamental component of the show. And along with jazz, Katie features a blend of soul, Latin and world-influenced jazz creating a perfect transition from day to evening. Tonic is a show for new listeners who are curious about jazz, as well as those already familiar with this wonderful music and its traditions.
