To position Canada's ITS industry to take advantage of growing international markets, the federal government is working with the provinces and the private sector to develop export opportunities for Canadian ITS firms. Under this export development strategy, ITS Canada, along with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Industry Canada, Transport Canada and the Ministries of Transportation of Ontario and British Columbia, participated in trade missions to various countries, including the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
