Hyperlinking & Crawling
Policy |
This
policy is meant to provide:
- the reasons for inclusion of content, specifically
links that appear on this Web site; and
- the appropriate linking and crawling practices
with respect to this site.
The on-line world
is evolving and details of this policy may accordingly
change over time. Implementation of these changes may
therefore lead to the removal of content and hyperlinks
from this site or to the termination of crawling,
without notice.

fees will be charged for access to it; and
- no logos, trademarks or other Government of
Canada's marks will be used in the link you post

back to the present site; they cannot block the user's
return to this site by imbedding code within the

- content of sites targeted to specific audiences
must be appropriate to the needs and expectations of
that audience.

- preference will be given to links made to sites
whose content is in both official languages; however,
links may be established to unilingual sites that add
significant value not found on existing bilingual
sites;
- preference will also be given to those sites that
provide uninterrupted, free access to users;

periodic review, terminated without notice, for
failure to comply with these criteria or for any other
appropriate reason including:

- frequent client complaints; or
- lack of resources to maintain and monitor content;
- links are provided for convenience purposes only
and are not an endorsement or rating of the content of
sites to which they are made;
- links may not work as we do not control the
availability of linked pages;

locations, with the exception of International jobs
posted by Government of Canada and provincial and
