GOVERNMENT INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ADVISORY BOARD (GISAB)
ABOUT GISAB - Draft Terms of Reference
(effective Febuary 2006)
Mandate:
- To provide a forum for departments with industrial security interests to discuss government-wide industrial security concerns and solutions.
- To look for ways to avoid duplication, to streamline and simplify the industrial security requirements of the Government of Canada, and to make it easier for industry to meet these requirements.
- To provide insight to departments' dealings with the Industrial Security Sector and advice on Industrial Security Sector's policies, programs and procedures which impact their organizations.
- To provide advice to help ISS streamline processes, to reduce administrative and procedural demands and to enhance its services in keeping with PWGSC's "Way Forward" agenda.
