Cultivating Compassion in Nursing Practice Workshop

The College is offering a half-day interactive workshop on November 26th to better support RNs in the delivery of safe, competent, ethical and compassionate care. We will focus on how best to define and operationalize compassion in today’s nursing environment. Participants can also expect to have their experiences integrated throughout the workshop and to explore specific strategies to support the provision of compassionate care.

Celebrate Excellence in Nursing

The College's Awards of Excellence in Nursing recognize RNs for their outstanding contributions to nursing practice. There is no limit to the number of nominations you and/or your colleagues can submit, and you can submit nominations any time throughout the year. Awards will be presented on May 13, 2014 at the annual banquet.

CCRNR Announces National Nurse Practitioner Practice Analysis

In support of a national approach for nurse practitioner licensure/registration, the Canadian Council of Registered Nurse Regulators is pleased to announce that it has launched a project to analyse nurse practitioner practice across Canada.
