Post Secondary Recruitment (PSR) Fall 2007 Campaign
Applicants are encouraged to visit our web site regularly, to ensure that they are fully aware of all potential employment opportunities. Some examples include:
General InventoryThe PSR General Inventory will be closed and no longer valid as of August 31, 2007. A new PSR General Inventory will be advertised from September 17 to October 17, 2007. As a new feature of the General Inventory, the PSC will require applicants to undergo testing for consideration in the inventory. Applicants will be required to register for testing at a testing location across Canada and abroad. Outside of Canada Candidates will be informed in the near future on the dates and locations upon confirmation from Canadian embassies, missions and consulates. Please note that dates will differ from one area to another. You are responsible to present yourself at the right date and time. There will be no alternate testing date, except under exceptional circumstances (medical, death in the family or religion). Candidates will be required to submit their request to Central Recruitment Programs Division for review at the following address: psr-rp@psc-cfp.gc.ca. Certain career choices will have tests associated with it. The following tests will be administered:
Candidates must register for tests on-line as part of the application process for career choices that list specific tests as a requirement. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of your application.
Candidates should only bring the following items to the test location:
Only candidates applying on the PSR career choices can write these exams. Access will be denied for those who did not apply for these career choices. Please arrive at the test site at least 30 minutes before the start time. Late comers WILL NOT be permitted to enter the exam room. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of the test date and time. Re-writing TestsCandidates who have previously written these exams and who do not wish to re-write them, are encouraged to refer to the Test Information link on this web site to verify the test names and reference numbers with those listed above. If you are unsure as to whether or not you have written the appropriate tests, please contact the Personnel Psychology Centre (PPC) immediately for confirmation. You can submit your request to obtain a confirmation of previous test results by sending a request by e-form or by fax to the PPC. Please visit http://www.psc-cfp.gc.ca/ppc/test_result_e.htm for information. Further consideration will not be given to applicants who are not registered for the appropriate tests after the closing date of the advertisement. Scheduling of alternative test dates will only be considered for religious reasons, death in the family, or cases of serious illness. A doctor's certificate or other proof will be required.
