RNAO mourns the death of George Floyd and all those who have succumbed to anti-Black racism and violence. RNAO stands together with sisters and brothers who continue to suffer the scourge of anti-Black racism and discrimination everywhere. RNAO unequivocally condemns racism, oppression and discrimination in all forms.

Building robust community care and anchoring our health system in primary care are important priorities that we must think about ahead of a potential second or third wave of COVID-19.

That’s why on May 12, RNAO president Angela Cooper Brathwaite, president-elect Morgan Hoffarth and CEO Doris Grinspun released RNAO’s groundbreaking report Enhancing Community Care for Ontario (ECCO 3.0) in a virtual media conference via Zoom.

With devastating cruelty, COVID-19 has exposed gaping faults in the society and economy we have created for ourselves. Among those faults is homelessness.
