Release, for public comments, of draft screening assessment reports on 2,2’-Methylenebis[6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methylphenol]

On June 23rd, 2007 a notice with respect to the draft screening assessment on 2,2’-Methylenebis[6-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methylphenol] (MBMBP) was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I.

Draft screening assessment reports

Pursuant to paragraph 74 (a) of the Canadian environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999), Environment Canada and Health Canada have completed the draft screening assessment on MBMBP.

The draft screening assessment has been released for a 60-day public comment period. The public has between June 23rd, 2007 and August 22nd, 2007 to submit written observations to the Minister of the Environment. More information on how to comment on the draft assessment is available at:
