The Proposed Enbridge Gateway Project

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has prepared a draft Agreement between the federal Minister of the Environment and the National Energy Board to establish a joint review panel for the environmental assessment of the proposed Enbridge Gateway Pipeline and Marine Infrastructure Project.

The Agency will receive comments on the draft Agreement in either official language until November 27, 2006. After taking comments into consideration, the Agreement will be finalized and made public.

The full text of the proposed Agreement is available on the Agency’s Web site.
