1. Explanatory Notes

OTHER INSTRUMENTS - This report contains non-confidential information only. The existence of confidential documents is noted in this section, however the contents are not disclosed. Please note that ad referendum information is generally regarded as confidential.

CHARACTERIZATION OF BILATERAL AGREEMENT- This section contains a brief summary of the main features of the bilateral air agreement including traffic rights, designation, tariffs and capacity. In some air transport agreements all traffic rights are granted initially, using the annex to restrict the available rights. In other air transport agreements only the traffic rights specified in the annex are granted.

ROUTES AUTHORIZED AND ASSOCIATED RIGHTS - The specified routes and the rights available are in general a reiteration of the wording of the actual agreements and related bilateral instruments.

ROUTES OPERATED - The routes operated are based primarily on service schedules submitted by air carriers to the Canadian Transportation Agency.
