Regional Offices and NSERC Reps
,

NSERC is establishing a network of regional offices across the country in order to develop a local presence and facilitate access to NSERC programs. To date, three of the five planned offices have opened and the remaining two are in the planning stages.

Every university that is eligible to receive NSERC funding can appoint an NSERC Representative (Rep). This person helps organize local activities, promotes awareness of researchers’ achievements, and enhances communication between NSERC and its stakeholders.

Each regional office works closely with the Reps to support NSERC’s activities throughout Canada and to help build on local initiatives.
