Non-Canadians Gateway Help Page          

This page was designed to bring your attention to some of the features of the Non-Canadians Gateway and to make your visit to this site more productive.

You can also contact the nearest Canadian government office abroad to access information on Government of Canada programs and services.

Navigation

Navigating or browsing the Non-Canadians Gateway is easy because of the convenient buttons on the left side of the Non-Canadians home page. You can click on any of the titles in the left menu bar and go directly to the information source that you have chosen. If you click on the button canada.gc.ca, located in the top navigation bar, you will leave the Non-Canadians Gateway and go to the home page of the Canada Site. If you wish to return to the home page of the Non-Canadians Gateway, simply click on the Canada International button in the left menu bar.

The Services for entrepreneurs and Service Canada Gateways are two other gateways or sub-portals that can be accessed from the home page of the Canada International site. Each can be reached with a simple click on the appropriate title in the left menu bar. Canada Business was designed for individuals and businesses interested in government information, services and resources that are available to support Canadian business. Service Canada will bring you to collections of information, grouped by subject, that will be of interest to all people in Canada, as well as Canadian citizens living, working or travelling abroad.

Search

The Search button in the top navigation bar allows you to perform a search of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada Web sites in English, French or any other language that may have been used in the preparation of Government of Canada documents or Web pages.

You may save some search time or find the information you are looking for right away if you check the Frequently Asked Questions to see if your question has already been asked and answered.

Downloadable Forms

Each individual cluster of information on the Non-Canadians Gateway has links to electronic services or forms that are related to the subjects within the cluster. Instead of going to a Canadian embassy or consulate to pick up forms that you may want or need, you may be able to download them using these links and then print them at your convenience.
