CIC’s RSS feed allows you to read through the news you want, at your convenience.
By using the RSS reader of your choice or building the feed into your blog (or online personal journal), you can access the latest CIC news in your favourite environment.
To view RSS feeds on your computer, you will usually need to get an RSS Reader or an RSS Web module. To add the CIC RSS feed, click on the orange button, copy the URL (site address) and paste it into your application. It’s simple!
Another way to view RSS feeds is to use a Web-based news reader.
Just click on the orange button, copy the URL from the address bar and then paste it in the proper field of your RSS Reader to instantly add CIC news headlines to your reader.
There are many news readers available on the Web. Some can be downloaded for free; other programs cost money because they are more complex. Some readers will work better on different operating systems. You should think about these things when you choose your software.
More detailed instructions are included in the news reader software that you choose. When new items are added to the CIC Media Room, you will be alerted through a small pop-up window or other alert device.
The feed will include news releases, media advisories, and speeches.
Note to CIC employees: RSS news feeds are not available on the CIC network.
