LONDON, February 8, 2007 — The Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, will be in London, Ontario, on February 9 to make an announcement on Karen refugees.

The Minister will be available to media following the announcement.
At 12:15 p.m., there will be a photo opportunity at the Cross Cultural Learner Centre with Minister Finley meeting some of the 90 Karen refugees now living in London.
Later that afternoon, Minister Finley will welcome London’s 60 newest Canadian citizens at a ceremony held at the Citizenship and Immigration Centre. The Minister will also be available to media following the ceremony.
