Canadian Farm Families Options Program
The Canadian Farm Families Options Program (Options) is a new federal program announced on July 31, 2006 to help low-income farmers and farm families improve their long term earning potential. While farmers engage in a Farm Business Assessment to prepare a business plan or take skills training, they receive a payment to supplement their income. Additional information and application forms are available on the Options website at www.agr.gc.ca/options, or by calling toll free at 1-866-367-8506.
Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is supporting the Options program by having independent consultants complete the Farm Business Assessment for applicants who have been approved. If you are a FCC customer who has been approved under the Options program, please complete and return the Application for a Farm Business Assessment (PDF) form and fax or mail it to:

You will be contacted by a representative from FCC within 10 days of receipt of the form to make arrangements for the Farm Business Assessment.
