Taking tourism seriously

The Honourable Gerry Ritz was appointed Canada's Secretary of State for Small Business and Tourism in January, 2007. He is the Member of Parliament for Battlefords–Lloydminster in Saskatchewan, and agreed to share his vision for tourism in an interview with TOURISM magazine:

TOURISM: You are the first federal cabinet member in decades to carry the word "Tourism" as a title responsibility, and I know the industry is very excited about that, and congratulates you for taking on the task.
