National Recreational Fisheries Awards

Awards and Award Ceremony

Each Award Recipient will receive:

  • A pewter Medallion with the National Recreational Fisheries Awards logo, minted by the Canadian Mint. The individual or organization's name will be engraved on the back of each medallion.
  • A pewter lapel pin bearing the National Recreational Fisheries Awards logo.
  • A framed Award Certificate signed by the Governor General of Canada or the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.

Ceremony and Luncheon is normally held  in May or June of each year.

Rideau Hall The awards are presented at Rideau Hall by the Governor General of Canada.
Alternatively, the ceremony may be held at Parliament Building's Centre Block and the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans will present the Award to each recipient. Parliament
