2007/2008 Hiring Targets

While this chart indicates that the deadline to apply for 2007/2008 is past, the Patent Branch still welcomes all applications (except in Mechanical, which is not hiring) for the 2008/2009 fiscal year recruitment campaign, beginning later this year.

Candidates that were invited and wrote the written test evaluating knowledge and abilities and were unsuccessful will not be considered in any future recruitment campaigns for a period of 2 years from the date of the written test.

(1) Honours Degree in Chemistry is a 4 years degree or 3 years post-CEGEP.

(2) Honours Degree in Chemistry will also be considered. Chemical Engineering Bachelors Degree with specializations in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Environment will be considered as equivalent to a Chemical Engineering Degree. Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering or Metallurgy will be considered as equivalent to a Chemical Engineering Bachelors Degree or 3 years post-CEGEP.
