Welcome to the website of the Canadian Consulate General in Boston. We are a part of a world-wide network of more than 200 Canadian diplomatic and consular offices. Along with the Canadian Embassy in Washington, Boston is one of 20 Canadian diplomatic offices located in the United States.

The role of the Canadian Consulate in Boston is to promote trade and investment links, including science and technology partnering. We also advance academic and cultural ties between Canada and the U.S., and assist Canadians living and visiting New England. The territory covered by this Consulate General includes the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont
